It doesn’t happen too often that the founder of a multinational company and Greenpeace stand side by side arguing for the same outcome on a contentious global issue. But these are unusual times that demand unusual measures.
On Monday 7th December, in the middle of the COP21 Climate Negotiations Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group and Co-Founder of The B Team, came together with Kumi Naidoo, International Executive Director of Greenpeace to send an unambiguous message to world leaders: Business and civil society are united in urging that these historic Paris talks produce a long-term goal that places the world on a path to net-zero emissions by 2050.
