October 11, 2021, New York: The B Team announced today that Ester Baiget, President and CEO of Novozymes, has joined its group of global business and civil society leaders working together to catalyze the transition to an inclusive economy by 2030.
“I am delighted to welcome Ester Baiget to The B Team. A fearless leader committed to making the world a better place, Ester embodies exactly the kind of 10x bolder leadership we need right now from business leaders to unlock a sustainable, equitable and prosperous future for all. She demonstrates that changing who leads changes how we lead," B Team CEO Halla Tómasdóttir said.
The announcement comes at a time when radical collaboration and brave leadership is desperately needed as we enter the final few weeks before leaders meet in Glasgow for the UN’s Climate Change Conference (COP26).
“It is a privilege for me to join a team of such courageous leaders. Together, we’ll turn words into action and aspire to encourage a new generation of leaders; leaders that dare to make the difficult decision to invest in a sustainable future, that choose to include and unite us all around a common goal – making the world a better place,” said Ester Baiget, President and CEO of Novozymes.
