Nadine leads The B Team’s strategic communications and storytelling efforts.

In her role she brings together our advocacy, campaigns and thought leadership efforts. Nadine has over 15 years of experience devising strategies and programs that translate some of the world’s most complex policy issues for a global audience. She discovered her passion for foreign policy and social justice issues in the post-9/11 era at the ACLU. Since then, she has worked at the intersection of media and policy for institutions such as PBS, the Council on Foreign Relations, and Chicago Ideas—where she was COO. Nadine resides in Santa Monica with her husband and two kids.

Manasa drives efforts in global policy processes on climate and nature, focusing on UN, G20 and G7 and related key global governance frameworks.

Manasa has a Doctorate in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, and her areas of expertise are in global climate policy, international migration, security strategies, and foreign policy. She has extensive research, editorial, marketing-communications, and project management experience working within intergovernmental, academic, and corporate organizations in India, Denmark and the United States. Manasa enjoys reading, hiking, gardening and generally being outdoors. She currently lives in Jersey City, USA.

Charlotte drives The B Team's organizational learning and development work, cultivating strategic partnerships in support of our mission.

Charlotte shapes The B Team's development priorities and works to deepen the engagement of our partners and donors, including our foundation partners and Leader teams. She also oversees our learning practice and is helping shape a culture of learning and reflection across the organization. Charlotte is passionate about social justice and has worked to foster cross-sector partnerships and solutions to global challenges over the past 15 years—in roles focussed on private sector engagement and activation, global health and development, disability services and political engagement. Charlotte is from New Zealand, but currently lives in New York City with her family.

Rupal drives The B Team’s Earthshot process, catalyzing convenings to co-design systems that urgently require transformation. Collaborating to unlock leadership from within, she builds trust between stakeholders to curate inclusive solutions. Rupal’s ACA qualification and commercial finance experience has provided a solid understanding of the inner-workings of business and the primacy of profit. Her deep-rooted belief, that business is part of the solution for an inclusive economy, led her to On Purpose, where she first crossed paths with The B Team. Based in the UK, she enjoys discovering coffee shops, long walks and spending quality time with her family.

Holly drives strategy and activation for our Leader teams community and advises on Leader and CEO engagement, Leader recruitment, and advocacy across our campaigns.

Holly maximizes the impact of the Leaders and Leader teams (Worker Bs) by mobilising the communities around critical advocacy opportunities and influencing moments. Advising on both our campaigns strategy and key stakeholder communities, she collaborates across the team to ensure our work on climate, nature, ESG, human rights and DEI is aligned and effective. Based in London and hailing from Aotearoa (New Zealand), Holly's background in human rights spans gender policy, worker protection and refugee support.

Elisa supports the private sector in their sustainability leadership journeys to raise ambition and implement action to achieve a just, net-zero, nature positive future.

Elisa, who started her career at Amnesty International in Mexico, has over 10 years of experience as a sustainability professional. She has worked in the energy sector across areas including business & human rights, just transition, supply chain management, ESG reporting, corporate strategy and communications.

Born in Norway and “grown” in Mexico, Elisa has lived in many countries but is currently located in Berlin where you may find her doing yoga, reading, knitting and exploring the city.

Ugochi strengthens The B Team’s community-building efforts, focusing on development, learning, and research.

In her role, Ugochi contributes to The B Team’s community building and development efforts by identifying strategic partners that can support our mission. She also drives our internal learning practice, working across teams to ensure we better understand and are clearly communicating our contribution to change. Ugochi brings extensive experience in international development, spanning communications, project management, and learning, where she spent over 8 years working on anti-corruption initiatives and producing socially conscious short films. She resides in the UK with her husband and two kids.

Gavin develops strategic communications frameworks, nurtures collaborations, and drives content planning, development and delivery.

Gavin maximizes the footprint and influence of our communications outputs by ensuring alignment and fulfillment of campaign and advocacy goals. He collaborates across the team to evolve The B Team's online audiences beyond the usual echo-chambers, building internal and external relationships with influencers and journalists, and leveraging various social and traditional media platforms. Gavin has over 10 years of communications and campaign experience in the human rights space, including at The Elders, Freedom from Torture and Amnesty International. Hailing from the UK with Sri Lankan roots, Gavin enjoys food, wine, travel, and walks with his dog Roxi.

Robin is responsible for driving The B Team strategy forward, bringing strategic direction to our campaigns.

Robin stewards The B Team strategy across the team, enabling focus on our organizational goal of enabling leaders to build a more inclusive economy. Robin supports our advocacy, programming and fundraising. She cultivates partnerships for our work, helping us grow our impact in a variety of networks. She also has a special focus on building our B Team learning culture.

Robin has been working on issues of governance, rights and social justice for decades, including leadership roles across the management spectrum. Her previous employment included the Carnegie Council and Transparency International. She has taught university and business school students in the UK and Germany and participated in a range of multistakeholder partnerships, such as Open Government Partnership and Medicines Transparency Alliance. She has also served on several organization's boards, including current roles in B Lab Germany and Fair Share of Women Leaders. Robin is a US American who has been based in Europe for more than two decades.

'Right-hand' to the CEO, Ruth drives our mission through her work on Leader and partner engagement, strategic planning and team building.

Ruth joined The B Team in 2015 to advance the Net-Zero by 2050 work and drive business engagement around the Paris Climate Agreement. In her role as Lead Collaborator, Ruth works closely with our CEO, our Leaders and across teams to develop and deliver the organizational strategy. A communications and stakeholder relations professional with 20 years experience, Ruth previously led Climate Week NYC, working with global business, government and thought leaders including John Kerry, Tim Cook and Tony Blair. Prior to this Ruth was a co-founding director of a communications agency. She is based in London.

Sierra drives The B Team’s work on Business and Human Rights, and contributes to advancing efforts in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and climate.

Sierra shapes the organization’s Human Rights agenda, and drives a people-centric focus across broader sustainability and ESG work. She brings expertise in global policy and international affairs from her work at the International Chamber of Commerce, as well as a passion for business sustainability developed during work at the World Cocoa Foundation and TEDxStAndrews. A native Californian with English roots, Sierra resides in Paris and is an advocate for progressive business leadership that embraces long-term economic growth.

Ewan advances The B Team's work on tax and corporate reporting.

Ewan works with companies to both implement and advocate for corporate transparency, and specifically more robust sustainability reporting. Ewan has worked in various public affairs and campaigns roles across the private, public and third sectors - often at the intersection of the three. He was previously Head of Corporate Partnerships at ActionAid, a human rights NGO, and spent six years in political consultancy, with a focus on the low carbon energy sector. He began his career in the UK Parliament as a policy advisor and researcher to Shadow Cabinet members. Ewan resides in Edinburgh, UK, with his wife and daughter.

He also advises on strategic communications planning and serves as managing editor of the New Leadership Playbook. Prior to The B Team, Chris consulted media clients on live programming and editorial development, including Bloomberg New Economy, The Daily Beast and the LA Times. He has served in communications, policy and strategic advisory roles in the US Department of Defense, New Jersey State Assembly, Barack Obama's presidential campaigns and elsewhere. Chris hails from Trenton, NJ and resides in Philadelphia.

Esha drives the outreach and influencing of The B Team's inclusive economy agenda, helping The B Team Leaders deliver impact.

Esha designs and implements our advocacy strategy, including business and policy advocacy. She collaborates with the team to expand and mobilize The B Team's influence to drive a better way of doing business for the wellbeing of people and the planet. She also deepens our relationship with company, civil society and organizational partners, including B Team company partners

Esha has over 12 years of experience in the inclusive economy space, including at the Council for Inclusive Capitalism and Acumen. She is currently based in New York.

Jameela drives work across The B Team campaigns and causes that focuses on transforming decision-making spaces to catalyze an inclusive economy.

Through our Change Who to Change How campaign and by delivering the RESET Dialogue and Design process, Jameela works to transform decision-making spaces in pursuit of an inclusive economy. Jameela collaborates across the team and seeks out partnerships with key stakeholders committed to radical collaboration, empowering marginalized communities and challenging the crisis of conformity. Jameela has dedicated her career to promoting integrity and accountability across sectors and has been a trustee at the Joffe Charitable Trust since 2021. A born and bred south-east Londoner with Caribbean heritage, Jameela enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Leah mobilizes the Leaders to catalyze a more just and sustainable world.

Leah Seligmann is a seasoned sustainability leader who has spent her career working with CEOs and global leaders to catalyze a just, sustainable future. Leah currently serves as Chief Change Catalyst & Interim CEO of The B Team. With nearly a decade of dedicated service to the organization, Leah has been instrumental in shaping and supporting The B Team's agenda, working closely with B Team Leaders to amplify their impact on the global stage. Leah began her journey with The B Team by leading the collective's work on climate and just transition.

Leah's belief that business can play a pivotal role in unlocking sustainability was honed during her tenure as the Chief Sustainability Officer for NRG Energy, a Fortune 200 energy company. Under her leadership, NRG was the first power producer to set a science based target and was featured on NASDAQ Global Sustainability Index's top 100 companies. Prior to NRG, Leah was a consultant at Blu Skye Consulting, advising major companies such as Alcoa, Walmart, Staples and Microsoft on how to integrate sustainability into their business strategies. Her experience spans various industries and initiatives including energy, agriculture, carbon management, supply chain transparency, employee engagement, merchandising and retail. Leah lives in Northern California and is happiest on a river or when she is spending time in nature with her husband and two boys.

Meet Rachel, our newest addition at The B Team since October 2023 via the On Purpose program. She's a seasoned energy and natural resources lawyer with a global footprint from Indonesia to the UK.

Her commitment to ethical and responsible resource development has been the primary driving force throughout her professional journey. Her deep-rooted dedication to environmental sustainability and social justice led her to advance her career beyond the legal realm and into sustainability practices.

When she's not optimising systems, you'll find her riding (though more often chasing) waves, trekking mountains, or exploring the depths through scuba and free diving.

Kate oversees the financial and non-financial resources of the organization, and plays a key role in our governance.

As the Lead Resources Curator, Kate ensures the financial and non-financial sustainability of the organization and works to maintain smooth internal processes, as well as supporting strong governance structures in her role as Company Secretary, drawing from her background in professional services.

Kate has over 17 years of financial and operations experience starting at PwC before moving to The B Team in 2013. Kate has lived around the world, including the US, Canada, Tanzania and New Zealand, before settling near the Peak District in the UK.

Halla works alongside our courageous business and civil society leaders to catalyze a more just, sustainable and inclusive world.

Halla joined The B Team in 2018, bringing broad expertise and insights, having worked in corporate America, as an entrepreneur, educator, investor, and board director. She was on the founding team of Reykjavík University and the first female CEO of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce. Halla co-founded and led an ESG focused investment firm and was the runner-up in the 2016 Icelandic Presidential Election. A passionate advocate for courageous leadership, Halla recently published her first book in Iceland, titled HUGREKKI til að hafa áhrif (e. COURAGE to make a difference).
